Historical Review of Smallholder Coffee Farmers Population in Kayumas Village, Situbondo Regency

This study discusses the historical context of existence community coffee farmers in Kayumas Village, Arjasa District, Situbondo Regency, starting 1883 until formation a farmer group 2018. Based on research using primary and secondary sources, this informs that before Persil were rented by Dutch investor named H. van Kol his colleague J. C. Egter Wissekerke 1883, there already some residents who growing Arabica coffee. cultivation was ultimately carried out from generation to generation, because knew market for higher than products outside coffee, such as ginger, tobacco, so on. It proven 2018, eight groups consisting 410 formed.
